Scranton Lodge is a luxury bespoke timber lodge set on the edge of Ash Lake, designed exclusively for two adults. Handcrafted by skilled craftsmen, each lodge is full of character and traditional craftsmanship. Complete with a large private fishing jetty, luxury outdoor seating area, traditional wood-fired hot tub, fire pit and ambient lighting, it’s the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside. Fishing is included throughout your stay, and as our pet-free lodge, it’s ideal for guests looking for a quiet, allergy-friendly escape.
Inside, the lodge features a spacious open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, along with a private shower room with toilet and wash basin. The unique mezzanine bedroom is accessed via a stunning handcrafted tree trunk staircase and offers a cosy king-size floor bed. Please note that the mezzanine has restricted headroom.
Measuring 7m x 3.2m, Scranton Lodge has been individually handcrafted using solid timber, giving it a warm, characterful feel unlike a standard glamping pod. Large double doors open directly onto your exclusive fishing jetty and spacious outdoor entertainment area, where you can unwind in the traditional wood-fired hot tub, enjoy evenings around the fire pit or simply watch the abundant wildlife across the lake. Keep an eye out for kingfishers darting across the water, ducks and geese gliding by, coots and moorhens nesting along the margins, or, if you’re lucky, spot deer at dawn, badgers after dusk, or even hear the evocative calls of tawny and barn owls as darkness falls.
