Elm Lake

A peaceful and well-stocked lake at Woodlands Fishery offering excellent sport for anglers of all abilities

Elm is the second of the original lakes at Woodlands Fishery. Fed all year by natural springs and the outflow from Willow Lake it has water lilies but with underwater snags, anglers will need to exercise skill and control.

Elm is approximately the same size as Willow with seven pegs (three double and one disabled), with a max depth of around 6ft. It stocks plenty of Skimmers, Roach, Rudd alongside some Crucian, Gudgeon, Perch & a handful of small carp and Tench up to 5lb. Effective baits to use include pellet, prawns & meat.
